Jules the Concert Machine
With the multitude of concerts around NYC in
the last week - you know Julius was there to check them all out!
Check out some of his shots below. Of course, the naked photos are for Jules' eyes only - thanks Heineken girls!
Vans Warped Tour - 8/13/05
Click the pics to get hi-rez
With the Slavic Souls Party. Punk meets polka - who knew?
The Offspring at CBGB - 8/16/05
God bless cell phones - even friends get to be a part of the concert. And without
having to pay for a ticket!
Julius enjoys a refreshing beverage after the concert.
Heineken AmsterJam - 8/20/05
Check out that crowd - this concert is definitely going to be good!
Oh those sponsors at Heineken. Keg cans for $5.
That's better than the $6 Buds at the Warped tour!
311 rocked!
If only they hadn't thrown me out of the mosh pit for excessive violence!
Who knew Wyclef could play the guitar?
I'm still recovering from the glare off all of those rhinestones!

a public art project by Chang-Jin Lee
Created by Korean born artist Chang-Jin Lee over the past 2 years, Homeland Security Garden investigates the complex issues of safety, security and personal freedom. ?Safety kits,? consisting of personal objects donated by participants and created by the artist in Plexiglas boxes, are displayed on Astroturf covered pedestals arranged to evoke a 19th century horticultural maze or garden. During informal workshops, the artist asks participants to gather items they consider essential to survive a crisis. ?Choosing personal items for a safety kit forces you to question, on a deep level, what you consider most valuable,? said Ms. Lee on a recent afternoon. ?What people need or consider most important varies by ethnic, social and economic background. These differences are highlighted and celebrated, in a playful way, in this project.?
