Julius meets Dick!

After being invited on stage for the lounge rendition of Brass Monkey, Julius gets an autograph and photo with Richard Cheese. Thanks again for coming out to NYC Dick!
Check out the latest album - Apertif for Destruction from Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine.

Julius at The Loreley Biergarten in SOHO

Relaxing before the Richard Cheese show at the Bowery Ballroom , Julius find himself hangin on the maypole at the Loreley Biergarten. While the tables were a little crowded, the community feel was friendly. Great place to meet folks and drink a wonderful Eurobrau. The food was good and the service was warm and friendly.

Lounge 47 in Long Island City

Julius checks out the scene in LIC, and has to rest after a great meal. Lounge 47 on 47-10 Vernon Boulevard, between 47th Avenue and 47th Road in Long Island City, claims to have "the best burger in LIC". After which Julius takes a break. The food was diverse and good, the service was friendly and the modest beer garden is always a joy.

OH NO! CBGBs is going away!

From the recent Fixer E-mail;
"Hey folks - Fixer hits CBGB, our favorite den of rock n' roll filth, this Saturday night for an evening of raging debauchery. With the club's demise imminent, this is likely the last time we'll play this venerable hell hole (in the sweetest sense of the words), so come on out. As you may or may not know, the satanic forces of the Bowery Residents' Committee are attempting to increase the rent to an unsustainable level for their tenant CBGB, no doubt to fund the BRC's nefarious "homeless shelters" and "outreach programs." Yes, it's Rokkers vs. Hobos 2005, and it looks like the Hobos might well triumph. (To be fair, they're probably due...) So come on out and spray the stairs with one last coat of vomit. Drop trow and enthrone yourself upon CB's illustrious toilet. And raise your fists in the air as Fixer rocks CBGB one last time... "
